The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius

The Jesuit Center for Reconciliation and the Guadalupe Mercy Center are teaming up once again to offer the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola as a retreat in everyday life.

For nearly 500-years, the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola have helped men and women throughout the world encounter the love and mercy of God in new, deeper ways and, through that encounter, to renew a sense of purpose and mission in their lives.

In Belize, the Sisters of Mercy and the Jesuits have been collaborating to offer this retreat since the mid-1990s.

The Spiritual Exercises will be offered as a retreat in everyday life. This means that participants will be asked to pray for 45-60 minutes per day at home or wherever they prefer, meet individually with a spiritual director twice a month, and meet together with all the other participants one Thursday evening per month for faith sharing.

If you feel like Christ is inviting you to greater depth in your relationship with him, if you feel like your life is at a crossroads and you need God's guidance, if you're ready to let God heal some of those deep wounds we all carry, then we invite you to consider joining us!
